What are you doing with this?

1 Peter 4:10-11 (NIV) 10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. 11 If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.

What are you doing with your talent? Have you chosen to hide your talent and proclaim that God has not blessed you with much?

You will never know the heights you can achieve if you don’t use what you have. You may fail  but that’s okay. It is better than just hiding your talent.

Can you preach? Teach? Heal? Encourage? Evangelize? Minister to the sick? Help the poor? The way to develop your gifts and reach your full potential is by stepping out in faith and making the most of every opportunity!

It is not how much you have, but how you use what you do have, to the glory of God.  And remember, if God is placing an opportunity before you, He’s already blessed you with the ability and gifts to do it. Use your gifts to bless others and to build the kingdom of God.

Matthew 25:24-27

24 “Then the man who had received one bag of gold came. ‘Master,’ he said, ‘I knew that you are a hard man, harvesting where you have not sown and gathering where you have not scattered seed. 25 So I was afraid and went out and hid your gold in the ground. See, here is what belongs to you.’

26 “His master replied, ‘You wicked, lazy servant! So you knew that I harvest where I have not sown and gather where I have not scattered seed? 27 Well then, you should have put my money on deposit with the bankers, so that when I returned I would have received it back with interest.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, bless me with the courage and wisdom to use my talents for your glory. Remove the excuses and fill me with faith that I will not fear. You have not given me a spirit of fear but of power, love and self-control. And so, I move forward, trusting in your word and opening myself to be involved in your service. Bless the work of my hands, feet, lips and  heart. Take me to new and greater heights. I pray that my ways are agreeable to your will, in Jesus name, Amen!
