Yes, we are in a spiritual battle. But sometimes we just want to give up the battle. Now’s not the time. As you look back at your life, you would realize that the times you did give up, things appeared well for the short term but in the long term they did not turn out that well. There are negative side-effects of sin.
2 Corinthians 10:4, NKJV For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds.
It’s a spiritual battle and the enemy will do everything to discourage and break your spirit. Instead, keep your eyes on the Lord. identify your battles and allow the Holy Spirit to work on you to overcome and be transformed. Do not accept by saying, “Oh, that’s just how I am.”
You are a child of God. Nothing is impossible for our God. Allow yourself to be transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit.
