Who are you blessing?

Proverbs 11:25  (NIV) A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.

In Genesis 12:2,  God said to Abraham:  “And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you and make your name great, so that you will be a blessing.” When you read the promise, you realize there’s a reason and purpose behind it. He will be blessed so that he will be a blessing to others.

So, “Give and it will be given to you.” Give healing, give love, give time, bless others, all out of love. Keep giving to others what God has given you.

Prayer: 

Heavenly Father, open my eyes and heart to see the opportunities you place before me to give to others. Lord, there are times I use so many excuses not to give. Help me to push past this and enjoy giving all that you have blessed me with. Show me Lord, how I can bless someone today.

Lord, let me be bold enough to give a word of encouragement or even just a smile to the strangers who cross my path. May I truly be a blessing to those I encounter along my life’s journey. 

Father, thank You that You have blessed me every day of my life. For You, Lord, are good and Your mercy continues forever. Amen.
