Stop Looking At Your Problem!

Psalm 42:5 Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.

You woke up in the morning, not feeling excited. You find it hard to shake off these negative emotions and to move forward in faith and God’s strength. Instead, you feed on the discouragement and depressing words of others. 

The Psalmist David found himself speaking back to himself. Why be downcast when I have the Lord on my side? Stop looking at your problems and start looking at Your God!

As you relax and trust in Him, He will show you opportunities and open your eyes to answers.

Prayer: 

Heavenly Father, I’ve struggled so long, focusing on my problems, that I have taken my eyes off you.

Lord, forgive me. I leave my burdens at your feet. I trust you to bless and provide answers to me. Show me what I must do, and when. 

I lift my eyes to the heavens and praise your name for you are Good! I love you and I thank you, in Jesus name, Amen!
