Prayer When You Need Assurance Of God’s Love

Ephesians 3:18 May you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep His love is.

ABBA Father, there is no love like Yours. You are my greatest lover and friend. But sometimes I feel too insignificant, sinful and imperfect to deserve your love. I find myself judging your love for me based on my inability to be “perfect”.

I pray that your Holy Spirit reminds me that I am valuable and precious to You, and that Your love for me is unconditional. As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so is Your love all around me, even in my distress, sinfulness and imperfection.

When I start doubting Your love and judging it based on my performance, please take me back to the cross where you gave Your only Son to die for me, while I was still a sinner.

I Am Grateful

Lord, it is because of your love and grace that I am alive today. Many people my age who were better than me and much more faithful to You than I am, have died, but I’m alive.

Even when I messed up, You overlooked my mess through Your merciful eyes. Your love is so great indeed. Please, help me to grasp and understand the depth of Your love.

Jeremiah 31:3. The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.”

Thank You For Your Love

Your love for me is limitless, beyond explanation and indescribable. You are full of compassion and tender mercy. May your incomparable love reach above the highest heights and below the deepest valleys of my life.

Lord, thank You for Your GREAT love towards me. I pray that You would give me the eyes to begin to see, and a heart to understand, how great and awesome Your love for me is! In Jesus name. Amen.
