Prayer – The Lord will Provide

Situations occur where we are flat on our backs, wondering how to get up again. But the Christian does not trust in horses and chariots. Horses get tired, and the chariots break. But we trust  in the name of the Lord our God, who remains the same throughout the ages.

You may not see any signs, but things will fall in place for you, as you trust in His Word.

Proverbs 3:5.Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;

Psalm 34:10. The young lions lack and suffer hunger; But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.

You should not lean on your understanding. Yes, your concern is real, your worries are genuine and your fears authentic. Still, do not lean on your five senses. Lean on God’s Word in this situation. Trust in the Holy Spirit for direction, guidance and wisdom to handle any situation.

When you lean on God’s Word, you put Him to work to fulfill His Word. The Bible says He has magnified His Word above His Name. He who promised is faithful and much more real than the very air you breathe. He said He will NEVER leave you nor forsake you, and that is your reality.

Hebrews 13:5. Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.”

Psalm 138:2. For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.

Let Us Pray

Heavenly Father, Your love for me is higher than the mountains, deeper than the sea, wider than the earth and more real than the air I breathe. Your promises are not yea and nay but they are all yea and Amen in Christ.

You said in Your word that You will never leave me nor forsake me. But recently I find myself worried about my needs. I’m in need Lord, but my faith is failing me and wavering. Help my unbelief.

Psalm 37:25. I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his descendants begging bread.

Your Word says that the righteous cannot be forsaken, and they will not beg for bread. Lord, let my heart be at peace and untroubled, because You will take care of me. My mother and my father can forsake me  but You Lord will take me up.

Thank You Lord, that You will provide for me. Thank You that You care for me. I cast all my needs on You. Thank You my precious Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. I pray in the wonderful name of Jesus Christ my lord, Amen.
