Prayer—The Lord Is My Salvation

How many times do you try to solve issues by yourself without including God? You said several times? For me it was numerous times, until God taught me that He is my salvation.

AD!

There are those areas of our lives that we unconsciously cut away from God’s grace and salvation. We deal with them all alone and tackle them with our own power and in our own understanding, but still fail.

Maybe your child is wayward, or doesn’t want to follow God…yet all you do is preach to him/her. Have you ever considered delivering him/her into God’s care regarding that particular behavior?

Maybe your spouse is selfish or inconsiderate or abusive and you have talked to them about it but there’s no change. God wants to help you, but He will not do so if you do not see that you need Him in that area.

Psalms 27:1 The LORD is my light and my salvation — whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life — of whom shall I be afraid?

The Lord being your salvation is not just from eternal punishment in hell. But He is your salvation in all things. Whether you are studying without understanding, marriage going downhill, not getting customers, struggling to find a job, unable to conceive or in sickness: THE LORD IS YOUR SALVATION.

Do not shield any area of your life from His salvation. Call upon Him and you will never be put to shame.

Isaiah 45:1. But Israel shall be saved by the Lord with an everlasting salvation; You shall not be ashamed or disgraced forever and ever.

Let Us Pray

Dear Lord, You are my strength and my song. You are the Rock of my salvation. In You there’s peace, joy and security. Those who look to You are radiant and their faces will never blush with shame.

Psalms 34:5. Those who look to him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed.

Isaiah 12:2. Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; ‘For Yah, the Lord, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation.’

So Lord, I look unto You in every situation. I submit my life, my relationship, my spouse, my children, my business, my education, my health, my work place and everything that concerns me to You. Lord have Your way.

1 Peter 5:7. Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.

You are my salvation oh Lord! And I will not be disappointed. I will not use my own effort, but I will allow your grace to speak. By your grace I will have victory in all I am doing, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Proverbs 3:5-6. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

Lord, You know all things. You are all wise and You need no counsel. Please come and help me. Let the power of your salvation speak for my marriage. Give me wisdom to solve all problems Lord. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray, Amen.

Psalms 138:7. Though I walk in the midst of trouble, You will revive me; You will stretch out Your hand Against the wrath of my enemies, And Your right hand will save me.
