Overcoming Loneliness

Do you feel all alone, and neglected? You may feel alone, abandoned, mistreated, or as though life hasn’t been fair. But this is a period to meditate on the Word of God and allow the Holy Spirit to fill you. Your God is by your side. He will never forsake you.

Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you.

Psalm 25:16 Turn to me and be gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted.

Today’s Prayer:

Heavenly Father, I will not fear or be dismayed, for you are my God. You will strengthen me and help me. And so I cast all my anxieties upon you, because I know you care. You heal the brokenhearted. And I know my heart is being mended. Cover me in your loving arms. Take away this feeling of loneliness and bring back my smile and inner joy. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
