Flashback – Prayer: Thank You Lord In Advance

Isaiah 40:31 “but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”

Today’s world, everything is “instant”. Instant coffee, instant gratification, instant communication. And we pray to God and expect an answer, immediately.

We grow impatient quickly. But we forget that the Bible is filled with believers, who waited and held on. 

David waited 15 years to be king. Moses waited 40 years to lead the Israelites out of Egypt. Sarah waited 25 years for her child, Isaac.

Let’s Look Back At Prayer. Thank You Lord In Advance
