The Desire To Please Him

Philippians 2:13 (NLT) – “For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him”

Do you desire to please God? On becoming a Christian, accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, God starts transforming you, giving you the desire and also the power to please Him and do His will! You are equipped for every good work. And He’s by your side when you do make mistakes, when you slip up.

His plans for you are good. As you grow in understanding of your purpose in the Kingdom of God, your gifts will be manifested, if you use them. Don’t hide them away. God will do great and mighty things in and through you!

PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank you for filling me with the desire and power to please you and do your will. Forgive me for slipping up and straying from your path. Fill me with your purpose and give me the faith to follow through on all that you have in store for me. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
